More >> Global Hope Hits the Open RoadGlobal Hope volunteer Dave Wisbrock, of Wisbrock Roofing in Westmont, is an avid motorcyclist. Inspired by his experience on our January Service trip, Dave is combining his love of riding with a desire to continue his philanthropic work. Dave and his friends from the American Legion Post 80 in Downers Grove are organizing the Flag Day Ride for Global Hope. The Ride will be held Saturday, June 14th, 2008. There will be a Post-Ride Party at the American Legion Post 80, 4200 Saratoga, Downers Grove, from 1 to 4 pm, featuring music by Triangle Green and Joe Kelly (formerly of The Shadows of the Night). You don't need to ride to enjoy the day - Stop by the party, grab some food and hear some great Blues! Proceeds from this much-anticipated event will help to rebuild the first church and community center in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans. Aja and her Mom Raise $5000 for Global HopeBetween them, Aja (left) and her mother raised nearly $5000 for Global Hope...
