In addition to the volunteers that joined us on our trip to the Lower 9th Ward, we had much support. I can’t possibly list everyone here I want you to realize what it took to make this service trip a successful endeavor.

Many people donated clothing, appliances, gift cards, construction materials, tools and sponsored volunteers; some loaded the trucks, organized the volunteers and picked up the donations; others offered support via e-mail and telephone calls, publicity, website development and construction expertise. I can’t forget – Malik Rahim, Thom Pepper, Mavis Yorks, Trevor, Vernon, Sam and the rest of the Common Ground volunteers.
