Global Hope Community Garden

Over forty volunteers fertilized, weeded, watered and tended our beloved Global Hope Community Garden.  Throughout the 2009 spring and summer season, and despite the cool weather and poor soil conditions, our hardy little plants grew.  The result was a bounty to be proud of and we happily delivered our harvest to PADS of Downers Grove.  We are thankful to those neighboring farmers at Mar-Duke touched by our Global hope spirit who donated some of their harvest as well.

Below are photos of some of the “fruits of our labor” lovingly grown to feed local families in need and photos of just some of those who made it all possible.
